Habitat/Range
The Loggerhead sea turtle is found in the Atlantic Ocean, Indian Ocean, Pacific Ocean, and Mediterranean Sea. They rarely come on land but it is not rare to see a female nesting on land. Females are in water that is suitable for them. They are usually in water that is 27-28 degrees.
Predators/Enemies
Like all animals, Loggerheads have predators. Loggerhead's predators are parrot fish and moray eels, and portunid crabs. Adults get attacked mostly because of there size! Females that are nesting are attacked by flesh flies, feral dogs, and humans.
Defense Mechanisms
The carapace of the Loggerhead (which is the shell) protects the loggerhead. It is known as the loggerheads suit of amour.
